Homestake/Delmoe Clean up

As most of you are aware Butte is home to the Homestake/Pipestone trail network.  The access road loops from Homestake to Delmoe Lake and on to Pipestone.  This main road unfortunately sees a lot of full size vehicle traffic resulting in much litter.  Mining City Trail Riders has decided to clean up the barrow pits along the main road June 11th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.   While the ATV trails are nearly litter free, the main road is in need of trash removal.

Several years ago MTVRA and several area clubs did this same project which resulted in some excellent P.R. for the motorized community.  We are asking all local clubs to participate and join us on this project.  Jay Fortune Construction has donated the use of a dump truck to help haul out garbage.  If you have a small trailer that can be pulled behind a four wheeler to help remove garbage please feel free to bring that.  Volunteers will meet at the Homestake parking lot on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m.  and work our way up the road.

We will also have a BBQ lunch for all the volunteers at 1:00 p.m.  Hope to see you all there!

CBU supports these projects that benefit our resources and ask for your help. THANKS!
